Helping Out Jenn - All April Long

Thanks to all of you, and the ending of a Living Social coupon, we did 465 tastings during the month of April and donated $465 to Jenn's medical bills! Memorial Weekend, Slushie Celebration - May 25 & 26

Last year, the mead slushies were a big hit, so we're bringing them back this summer! Assuming that the weather is nice and warm, we'll have some of your favorite meads "slushified" for your enjoyment! We'll have Meadjitos for sure and perhaps another flavor or two! And... Buy a bottle of your favorite mead and get a FREE Home Slushie Kit! Oooo! Ahhh!

Hops & Roots Festival - May 25, noon - midnight

Enjoy lots of local music, food, wine, and beer! Starrlight Mead will be there for the second year, pouring our meads to the tunes of local bands and enjoying plenty of locally produced veggies and goodies. Mead and a Sunset Cruise - Friday, May 31

Back by popular demand! Our Mead and a Sunset Cruise of Jordan Lake!

Imagine you and your honey on a boat at sunset sipping on some honey wine!! We’ll start your adventure with a tasting for two of our delicious meads (honey wines). You will be lead through the tasting of each of eight meads and be able to select a bottle to take with you as your adventure continues at Jordan Lake. You will meet Captain Don and cruise the lake with Triangle Boat Tours as the sun dips below the horizon, enjoying the sights and sounds of the wildlife who make their home at the lake. Don’t forget your camera!

Date: Friday, May 31
Time: Tasting available from noon until 5:30 pm
Cruise at Jordan Lake: 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Salute! Wine Festival, Winston-Salem - Sat. June 1, 12-6 pm

Mead-ieval Day - Saturday, June 15

Bring Dad out to the meadery for his favorite things - Mead and Mead Wenches! Our lovely Mead Wenches will be pouring mead for Dad (and all the other guys out there!) on another of our festive Mead-ieval Days! Wear your garb and join the fun! Huzzah!

  • New Mead Flavor for Breast Cancer Awareness Month - Ben and Jenn are working on a not-so-secret new mead for October! You will definitely want to get a bottle... or two! And $5 from the purchase of each bottle will go to Jenn's medical bills!
