North Carolina Wine Festival at Tanglewood Park, Winston-Salem - Saturday, May 26, noon-6:30pm

For the second year, we will be out at the largest wine festival in NC! Look for lots of wine, great music, and more wines! Get advanced tickets online for only $20 each. ($30 at the gate!)

Salute! NC Wine Celebration, Winston-Salem - Saturday, June 2, noon-6:00pm

Starrlight's first appearance at this fun food and wine experience. Join us, and 30 other wineries, for the seventh annual Salute! NC Wine Festival for lots of wine, food, music and fun! Get more information online and watch for tickets to go on sale soon!

Mead Classes at Rockingham Community College

We are so excited to be able to share what we know about mead making with, well, anyone who will listen! Now it turns out that the Rockingham Community College thinks it's a great idea for several continuing education classes! Ben and Becky will be teaching four classes this summer:
Beginning Mead Making - 6/16, 9am - 12:30pm, $35
Mead Varieties - 6/16, 1pm - 4:30pm, $25 (take both, learn lots!)
Craft and Nano Beverage as a Business - 6/23, 9am - 12:30pm, $40
Starting Your Own Winery, Brewery or Meadery - 7/21, 9am - 4pm (hour break for lunch, not included), $65

Mead and Sunset Cruise on Jordan Lake - Friday, June 22

Back by popular demand!
Imagine you and your honey on a boat at sunset sipping on some honey wine!! We’ll start your adventure with a tasting for two, at Starrlight Mead in Pittsboro, of our delicious meads (honey wines). You will be lead through the tasting of each of eight meads and be able to select a bottle to take with you as your adventure continues at Jordan Lake. You will meet Captain Don at the marina and cruise the lake with Triangle Boat Tours as the sun dips below the horizon, enjoying the sights and sounds of the wildlife who make their home at the lake. Don’t forget your camera!

Time: Tasting available from noon until 5:30 pm
Cruise at Jordan Lake from 6:45 – 8:45 pm
Limit: 12 people

Cost: $75/couple or $45/single/third (plus tax)
Includes: Mead tasting, 2 souvenir glasses, and a bottle of mead to share ($26 value, additional bottle charge may apply for some meads)
2 hour sunset cruise of Jordan Lake ($72 value)
