Reserve Meads
When we make a reserve mead, we pull out all the stops! These typically feature difficult to acquire or expensive ingredients and are crafted to be celebrations in a bottle.
Traditional Meads
Traditional Meads are produced using only three ingredients: honey, water, and yeast. While the majority of our meads utilize wildflower honey, we produce several Traditional Meads that utilize mono-floral honey to showcase the amazing variation of flavors that can be found in honey. All of these meads (except for the Traditional Mead Off-Dry) are sweetened with more of the featured honey to provide even more honey character.
On the Drier Side
These meads all use co-ferments: something added during fermentation other than honey, water, and yeast. Many of these meads utilize fruit juices to create amazing, nuanced flavor while maintaining a low sugar content.
Fruited Meads
These meads are juicy and bursting with flavor! Expect to feel as though you are biting into fresh fruit as you sip on these delightful meads. Our best-selling Spiced Apple can be found in this section.
Herbal Meads
Like herbal tea, these meads are infused with herbs and spices. Historically, many communities used forageable and harvestable ingredients to add flavor and complexity to their mead. These are lightly honey-sweetened to balance flavors from the herbs and spices.
