Strawberry Rita Sangria
Ingredients:
2 bottles Starrlight Mead’s Rita (seasonally available at the meadery or online)
2 c strawberries, sliced or chunked
Directions:
Combine 1 bottle mead with fruit and put in fridge overnight.
Before serving, scoop out some of the fruit to add to glasses and mix in second bottle of mead for sweetness. Enjoy!
Spiced Apple Three Ways
Caramel Apple Sangria
Ingredients:
2 bottles Starrlight Mead Honeyed Spiced Apple Mead
1 apple - chopped
3/4 c caramel syrup or caramel vodka
Directions:
In a pitcher, combine 1 bottle of Spiced Apple Mead and chopped apples. Let sit several hours or over night in the refrigerator. Before serving, stir in caramel syrup or caramel flavored vodka. Garnish each glass with chopped apples.
Apple Cranberry Cocktail
Ingredients:
4 ounces Starrlight Mead Honeyed Spiced Apple Mead
2 ounces cranberry juice or sparkling cranberry juice
Directions:
Add cranberry juice to Spiced Apple Mead. Stir to combine. Serve chilled or over ice. Try adding 1 ounce cranberry liqueur or bourbon for an extra festive fall treat!
Apple Pie Mule
Ingredients:
5 ounces Starrlight Mead Honeyed Spiced Apple Mead
2 ounces ginger beer
Directions:
Combine Spiced Apple Mead with ginger beer. Add more or less mead to taste. Serve chilled or over ice.

Tropical Fruit Sangria
Tropical Fruit Sangria
Ingredients:
2 bottles of Starrlight Mead Traditional Mead Semi-sweet
1 bag frozen mixed fruit - we like Walmart’s Mixed Fruit with pineapple, mango, strawberry, and peach
Directions:
Soak fruit in 1 bottle of Semi-sweet Traditional Mead for several hours or overnight.
Remove fruit and set aside for garnishing glasses
Before serving, add second bottle of mead.
Enjoy!
Melody's Citrus Plum Sangria

Ingredients:
2 bottles Starrlight Mead’s Honeyed Plum (available at the meadery)
3 black plums, sliced or chunked
1 orange - sliced
Directions:
Combine 1 bottle mead with fruit and put in fridge overnight.

Honeyed Tropical Sangria and Honeyed Mai Tai
Honeyed Tropical Sangria
Ingredients:
1 bottle of Starrlight Mead Honeyed Pineapple or Tropical Mead
1 orange, peeled and sliced
1 lime, sliced
3/4 cup cubed pineapple
Optional: 1/2 bottle Starrlight Mead Honeyed Peach Mead
Directions:
Soak fruit in 1 bottle of Honeyed Pineapple or Tropical Mead for several hours or overnight.
Before serving, add optional 1/2 bottle of Honeyed Peach.
Enjoy!
Honeyed Mai Tai
Ingredients:
1 glass Honeyed Tropical Sangria (above)
Splash Cream of Coconut
Splash of Grenadine
Directions:
Combine in a tall glass.
Enjoy with an umbrella! Or under an umbrella!

- 1 Granny Smith apple - sliced thin
- 1-2 Honeycrisp apples - sliced thin

Sparkling Bengal Spice Sangria
In honor of our furry friends at Carolina Tiger Rescue!
Ingredients:
- 2 oranges, sliced in rounds
- Ginger ale
- 1 bottle Starrlight Mead’s Chai Tea Mead (available at the meadery)
Directions:
- Mix fruit with bottle of mead and let sit 2-4 hours.
- When ready to serve, fill glass 3/4 full with sangria, top up with ginger ale.
- Garnish with oranges.
Red, White, and Blue Sangria
A festive choice for all those patriotic holidays!
Ingredients:
2 bottles Starrlight Mead’s Semi-sweet Traditional or Honeyed Blueberry Mead (available online here, at the meadery, or at your local store)
2 c strawberries, sliced
2 apples, sliced (optional)
2 c blueberries
Directions:

Peach Sangria

Ingredients:
2 bottles Starrlight Mead’s Honeyed Peach (available at the meadery)
3 c peaches, sliced
3 c berries - your choice raspberries (our favorite), blueberries, strawberries, blackberries
Directions:
Combine 1 bottle mead with fruit and put in fridge overnight.
Before serving, scoop out some of the fruit to add to glasses and mix in second bottle of mead for sweetness. Enjoy!
Starrlight Mead’s Famous Mead Slushies
Ingredients (4 servings):
1 bottle of Starrlight Mead (your choice of flavor—our favorites are Peach, Rita, ‘Jitos, or a combination of Peach and Ben’s Special Ginger) / available online here, at the meadery, or at your local store
4 zip-top freezer bags
Directions:
Measure 6 oz of mead into each bag. Carefully squeeze extra air out of bag and zip closed.
Lay bags flat in freezer-safe dish or container.
Freeze for 6 hours or overnight (6 hours for cold mead, overnight for room temperature).
Before serving, massage bag gently to break up ice crystals and create slushie!
Pour into glass and Enjoy!
